At present, with the depletion of surface shallow mineral resources, large-scale mines at home and abroad have gradually shifted from open-pit mining to underground mining. With the gradual increase in mining depth and difficulty, more and more problems have arisen, and the difficulty of deep mining has also increased. It is getting bigger and bigger, and one of the most prominent and serious problems is the harsh environment, high temperature and poor ventilation in the underground operation area.

The traditional internal combustion scrapers are powered by diesel engines. Too high temperature will cause thin air, and poor ventilation will make a small amount of diesel insufficient to burn, resulting in a large amount of diesel exhaust and waste heat containing harmful substances, polluting stope operations. At the same time, it is also extremely detrimental to the health of underground operators.

In response to this series of problems, DALI R&D engineers proceeded from customer needs and went deep into the underground site to find product positioning. After a long period of research, development and testing, the DLWJ-3B battery LHD loader came out.

The DALI battery underground loader DLWJ-3B is a scooptram with a rated loading capacity of 7 tons and a maximum operating speed of 20km/h. The power source adopts a large-capacity lithium iron phosphate battery and is equipped with a special BMS for the scooptram, which can adapt to the special underground working conditions of the scraper. The temperature of the battery is controlled by an air-conditioning forced water cooling system to ensure that the battery always works in the optimal temperature range to prolong the battery cycle life. The power system is driven by an AC permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the energy conversion efficiency is as high as 95%. The charging side is reserved for dual charging gun sockets. The charging method supports dual gun fast charging. In the fast charging mode, it only takes 50 minutes to complete 85% of the charging capacity.

The working mechanism, cab, gearbox, transmission shaft, axle and other parts adopt the same configuration as our company’s star product WJ-3 LHD mining loader, which maximizes the use of spare parts and reduces the pressure on customers’ on-site spare parts inventory.
