General Safety Precautions for Operating a Scooptram

Operating a scooptram, also known as a load-haul-dump (LHD) vehicle, requires adherence to general safety precautions to ensure the well-being of the operator and those working in the vicinity.
1.Before using the equipment, one should carefully read the operation and maintenance manual (referred to as the manual) to understand the structure, performance, and characteristics of the product, master the operating methods, and proficiently grasp the detailed content in the manual;
2.Ensure that the operating device, indication and warning device, steering performance, and braking performance are normal before using the equipment;
3.Do not use the joystick as an auxiliary tool to fix other objects;
4.Do not start, stop, or manipulate equipment before sitting in the driver’s seat;
5.Do not stand while the equipment is moving;
6.Wear safety helmets and seat belts correctly before driving;
7.When operating equipment or working near electric motors and other moving or rotating equipment, do not wear loose clothing;
8.Do not continue to use the device when the system alarms;
9.No passengers allowed;
10.Do not leave the equipment before the vehicle is braked;
11.Secure the wheels when parking;
12.Always remember the nearest fire extinguisher storage location;
13.Before each driver change, check if the safety system is turned off;
14.Pay attention to avoiding other vehicles, as they may not have taken avoidance measures;
15.When connecting the power cable, cut off the power supply. In any case, special tools should be provided and live cables should not be handled;
16.Ensure the installation and operation of grounding indicators and grounding protection devices during power supply.
Remember, safety should always be the top priority when operating a scooptram. By following these general safety precautions, you can minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment.
